Technical Requirements

• Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) developing dashboards and visualization solutions with Looker (LookML, Explores, Views, Models) and Looker Studio Pro.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) domain, especially in services such as:

BigQuery (modeling, performance tuning, query optimization, partitioning, clustering) .Cl

Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer or data integration equivalents.
IAM (Identity & Access Management) for security and access control.
Solid knowledge in cloud data architecture and BI best practices in GCP.
Experience integrating external sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) with Looker/Looker Studio.
ETL/ELT domain (experience with Dataform, dbt or Dataflow preferred).
Advanced knowledge of SQL (including analytical).
Experience in defining KPIs, metrics and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, model and maintain semantic models in LookML.

• Develop and manage dashboards in Looker and Looker Studio Pro aligned with business needs.

• Optimize the performance of queries in BigQuery and models in Looker.

• Define and apply best governance, security and scalability practices in GCP.

• Interact with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable BI solutions.

• Document and train end users and internal teams in the use of Looker/Looker Studio.

Desirables

• GCP certifications (e.g. Professional Data Engineer, Looker Looker LookML Developer).

• Experience in projects to migrate BI tools to Looker/Looker Studio.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning in GCP (Vertex AI) for integration with dashboards.

• Intermediate-advanced English (for documentation and communication with global teams).

Skills

• Clear communication skills and business orientation.

• Consulting skills: understand the problem and propose scalable solutions.

• Proactivity and autonomy in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Role Responsibilities

1. Data design and modeling in Looker (LookML):

• Create and maintain models, explores, views and joins in LookML to support business analytical requirements.

• Ensure consistency and governance in the definition of metrics and KPIs.

2. Development of dashboards in Looker and Looker Studio Pro:

• Build reports and interactive dashboards with high performance and effective visualizations.

• Ensure intuitive and scalable user experiences.

3. Query and performance optimization:

• Fine-tune queries in BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, cost optimization).

• Design optimized datasets for Looker and Looker Studio.

4. Data source integration:

• Connect Looker/Looker Studio with multiple sources: BigQuery, SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, ERP, CRM and external files.

• Define ingestion and transformation processes (ETL/ELT) together with data teams.

5. Governance and security:

• Manage access through IAM in GCP and permissions in Looker.

• Implement best practices for security, privacy and data control.

6. Collaboration with business stakeholders:

• Raise requirements with business areas and transform them into analytical solutions.

• Document metrics, definitions and business rules to ensure alignment.

7. Best Practices and Standardization:

• Define and apply development standards in LookML and Looker Studio Pro.

• Promote good practices in data visualization and storytelling with dashboards.

8. Support and training:

• Provide technical support to business users in the use of dashboards.

• Train internal teams in the adoption of Looker/Looker Studio and GCP.

9. Innovation and evolution of the platform:

• Explore new features in Looker, Looker Studio Pro and GCP to integrate them into projects.

• Propose continuous improvements in data and analytics architecture.
