Data Governance Consultant with Knowledge in Information Security
Experience and competencies:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data governance and information security
- Knowledge in implementing Information Security or Cybersecurity Controls, ISO 27001
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
- Knowledge and understanding of how to create a Data strategy, what are the most important elements and how to approach it.
- Experience implementing data governance programs in business environments.
- Competence in understanding, analyzing the client's industry and business cycle with the objective of being able to guide the client in the application of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in establishing data management policies and procedures
- Experience in identifying and solving problems related to data quality, modeling, metadata and security.
- Experience in mapping business processes and managing the implementation of process improvements (business or technology) that directly impact data. To have worked hand in hand with data engineers.
- Understanding of technical language.
Required Software:
- Collibra Data Governance Center or something similar
- SQL oriented to Data Analysis
- Microsoft Excel (for data analysis and reporting)
- Desired Software: Alteryx (for data process automation), Tableau, Power BI or Looker studio (for data visualization)
- Informatica Axon
